This is just my opinion, but Kubuntu is great.
1)KDE. Love the KDE, especially Plasma. Those widgets really come in handy and if there is some stuff you don't need, you remove it with ease.
2)Stability. Not a single crash. If it crashes, then it's the application, not system.
3)Easy to install everything. If there is something you don't have when you install something, aptitude just tells you that you need it.
4)Always upgrading.
