    Thanks Aged Hippy. It's a good idea to have at least an annual survey to give people (linux users and not yet users) an idea of what's available and for the developers to see, over a period of years, how their distro is going.

        .... maybe if i boot into the (K)Ubuntu install... then the KDE 4 one...

          ... maybe the 9.04 KDE 4 installation will make it 3.
