Yeah they were driving drunk, but the accidents was caused because they got high ten days ago. that is just silly.

I didn't say that. Read again. To be more succinct, it is CURRENTLY difficult if not impossible (but may not be in the future) to tell WHEN a Pot smoker last smoked Pot, unless the joint is till smoldering between his dead fingers, so it is VERY LIKELY that some accidents or supposed suicides by automobile were actually the result of a driver still experiencing hallucinations or degraded abilities while driving. The URLs point that out.

What I have no problem in stating, because of my experience in teaching, is that most Pot smokers usually blow their educational opportunities up in smoke, or achieve lower levels than their potential suggested, because their THC induced delusions about their "enhanced" learning abilities, or the mind haze they float in, led them to not study sufficiently to achieve academic success.

        Re: 420!

I can't quite believe where this thread is going.

It is quite clear that taking a drug in sufficient quantity, i.e. 4 espressos, 1 joint, a couple of pints of beer, a bottle of wine, you name it, is going to affect the way your brain interacts with its environment. If you are savvy enough to know what effect you are after, i.e. a coffee in the morning to get you going (I am an instant human, just add coffee), you are likely to achieve your aim. If you haven't got a clue what you are doing, you are likely to harm yourself and others might suffer because of your ignorance - clearly that is not ideal.

As far as I am concerned the best way to counteract that sort of behaviour is education. A sort of radical analogy: every time you execute a sudo command it is like you are on coke (or tea, chillies, THC, sugar, anything). You don't want to do it all the time 'cos it ain't good for you (or your OS). However, sometimes it does what it is supposed to do. Ancient cultures are quite clued up to this fact. However, newer monotheistic ideologies have a nasty habit of saying that anything other than they is a terrible thing. Reminds me of M$. I am on Linux and I know why
