Seems that I heard rumors similar to this about 4 months back. I also heard that Blue-Ray was on the same path. Really don't know the whole truth behind these "rumors". Only time will tell. -

Yeah... I really only meant the post as a "HOLY CRAP - KDE IS KILLING PLASMA!?!" joke, since that is of course the first thing i think of when i see the word plasma
But in any case, it would probably be a good thing... i read a while back that the latest tech for making LCD panels is not very different than what is needed to make a modern solar panel... would be great to see those old factories re-purposed for that when the next-gen LCD's are being produced.
Pioneer Plasma is THE tv though... this really is quite shocking news.Comment
