Re: sidux and Kubuntu
I like sidux. It's a very cool distro. I'd be a bit afraid to try it at the moment because of all the changes in Sid since they had a chance to put out their last version. They are on KDE 4.2.4 now, for example, not 3.5.10. I read on their forum that the developers recommended for new users to wait until they put out a new version before installing it.
I was using it but I sort of moved on because I wanted new software and Lennie had everything frozen in Debian for 6 months or so and I didn't feel like compiling....anyway, when they put out a new version I want to give it another try.
One thing I don't like much is the developer's attitude toward things. They are very dogmatic and at times very unreasonable.
