I had a question, but like usual I found the answer just before I posted it.

But now I'm a member here so I might as well say hello!

(I'm getting ready to install Kubuntu for the first time so I'm sure I'll have questions soon enough )

There are lots of threads on the subject of installing, so probably most of your questions will have already been asked and answered. However, if you find yourself preparing for Attempt #4, better give us a post and let us know what the problem is.

Seriously, it's OK to have a couple of "learning experiences" before you have that first flawless installation.
