That was about a year ago.
Giving it a bump here as dedo has added very good & interesting content, up-to-date.
Many neat Linux topics, esp for beginners or bored intermediates wanting to mess with a new trick/toy.

We need a way to organize all this useful info.
Too much to cover.
@dibl, you got me thinking about sidux some time ago,
and so far it's a winner for this user -- wished I'd run
into it before. Just did it today. So far, just a standard HDD install
and it's amazing how much thought and effort they
put into it -- documentation is outrageously excellent,
install took 6 minutes 19 seconds, and setup is going about as
fast as I can type--helpful pop-ups and wizards everywhere.
(and, of course, I do understand what sidux is ...
all the stable-unstable banter--kinda matches my personality.).
sidux -- a winner in my book.
oops, off-topic, except the tip came from you dibl ... but then you are also off-topic!
