                      Hello Antkin

i've solved in part creating calling the usb device from a floppy. It takes a bit but then Kubuntu starts on USB-HDD.

I'd like to make the same with the cdrom(bootup from cdrom that make the bootup on USB-HDD) , so it will be faster but i don't know how to do it.

                        Hi

Have you tried to change your your BIOS settings at boot up ?

Do a restart and keep pressing F2 during the boot up.

                          yes yes thanks,
but my problem is my motherboard: it's an old one (ASUS P4B553-E) and the bios doesn't support the bootup on the USB-HDD.
