    That would imply that they (the writers/maintainers) believe it needs fixing. From their point of view (I'm sure), it does exactly what they intend it to do.

      One of the things I saw while reading comments on the review is that a lot of people were accusing the creator of automatix of being immature about feedback. They'd give him feedback, point out things they felt should be fixed because it caused problems for other programs, and apparently he'd reply accusing them of being jealous of his program and crap like that. While there is a chance these people are exaggerating, if they're not, it would very clearly point to automatix never being "fixed".

      It could be intentional in order to try to get people to only use his program, and it also could just be his abilities aren't good enough to fix it and his ego is keeping him from letting anyone else help. Whatever it is, if peoples accusations of his immaturity are correct, and he insists on not letting anyone else help, automatix will continue to be the tool that appears to help as it breaks the tools more commonly used.
