I first installed Ubuntu, and took a good look. Then I added the Kubuntu desktop, and in no time I decided to do a clean install of Kubuntu ... partly due to the overall impressions, but more than anything the performance of Konqueror as a DESKTOP BROWSER and as a split screen FTP CLIENT. That sold me. I handle Websites so the ftp feature is a real winner.Never remove those Konqueror features. This noobian thanks you.
