    Message in Discover

After the last updates I'm getting the following message in discover: "W: Repositories should provide a clear-signed InRelease file, but none found at https://repo.vivaldi.com/stable/deb/...able/InRelease.
    W: Für das Depot »http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu oracular-backports InRelease« wurde der »Suite«-Wert von »oracular-security« in »oracular-backports« geändert.
    E: Für das Depot »http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu oracular-backports InRelease« wurde die Standardpriorität für apt_preferences(5) von »500« in »100« geändert."
I can thake it away and update as usual.

But if I get updates this message is even longer.
Please take care that this will not appear.

    Kind regards
    Sigurd

    Translation:

W: For the depot "http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu oracular-backports InRelease" the "suite" value was changed from "oracular-security" to "oracular-backports".
E: For the depot "http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu oracular-backports InRelease" the default priority for apt_preferences(5) has been changed from "500" to "100".

The Vivaldi part, you will need to ask the Vivaldi people about. I imagine this is affecting everyone using it on 24.10.

For the second one it looks like they had to fix something on the DE mirror network.
Run sudo apt update on the command line to get the full messaging and possible what needs to be done about it. It might also fix the second one as this iirc accepts the change mentioned.

You might also switch to the main apt server at least for a bit.

The backports error "priority has been reduced from 500 to 100" means that you will have to explicitly select backported software packages. Backported packages will not be offered as updates for already installed packages.
I believe this is the way it is is supposed to be by default, but I might be wrong, or it changed.

        Hi Claydoh,
"sudo apt update" in the konsole fixed everthing. The bothering message does not appear anymore.
        Thank you for your help.
        Kind regards
