I have 24.10 and Windows 10 installed on the same drive. I cannot use GRUB to boot Windows. When I try, it says "error: cannot load image. Press any key to continue."
Also, if I then try to boot into Kubuntu immediately after, it fails that too. It says something along the lines of "load the kernel." So, I have to restart, choose Kubuntu first, and only then will it work as expected.
The only way to boot into Windows is to select it as priority in UEFI, bypassing GRUB entirely.
I had exactly the same setup and hardware with 24.04 and never had this problem. Is there any solution to this in the pipeline, or should I just downgrade to 24.04?
