How to update from 24.04 to 24.10

Hi! can someone answer a quick question. I'm trying to upgrade from 24.04 to 24.10. I ran

sudo software-properties-qt

and i changed the release upgrade to Normal Releases. After that i ran sudo apt update followed by apt upgrade but it doesn't appear to be working.
