Hello everyone,
I am a new member and new to Kubuntu. I am hoping to be a long term member, as I love this distro after laying my eyes on it for the first time. I love Linux, but I don't really know what I'm doing. I try to fix things on my own and this isn't the first time I've gotten myself into trouble. After I installed Kubunto and restarted, I got the error message starting with "grub minimal bash like line editing is supported..." A quick Google search says that I have a corrupted Grub. I had Windows, MX Linux and Linux Mint Cinnamon on this machine and I installed Kubuntu on the Mint partition. Before installing Kubuntu, I tried to figure out how to format the drive with Gparted, but I was unsuccessful. I also tried to do it with the Kubuntu live USB, but when I tried to install Gparted it asked for a password that I don't know. I would like to format the entire drive and reinstall Kubuntu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
