    Kubuntu 24.10 Missing Iwconfig

Hey! Ok i updated from 24.04 to 24.10. No major issues as such but i have one annoying little problem. When i try to run iwconfig i get this error:

Command 'iwconfig' not found, did you mean:
command 'iconfig' from deb ipmiutil (3.1.9-3build2)
command 'ifconfig' from deb net-tools (2.10-1.1ubuntu1)
    Try: apt install <deb name>

I have net-tools already installed and YES i tried removing it and reinstalling it but i keep getting the same error.

anyone able to help me out?

See if you are able to install wireless-tools This is the package that allows you to run iwconfig

Thanks Snowhog!. I tried that ut it gives me this:

Package wireless-tools is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

Error: Package 'wireless-tools' has no installation candidate
