Today I upgraded my system from 24.04 to 24.10, and while the upgrade seemed to go well, I was surprised to find that my screen resolution had changed from 16:9 to 4:3, which, according the settings, is the only resolution I can use. I have a Nvidia GEForce 730 graphics card, which used the Nvidia 470 driver previously. I went to the driver manager to see what's there, and there are no Nvidia drivers listed, so it probably got deleted during the upgrade. At the moment, the graphics processor is 'llvmpipe'. What do I do to get back my proper resolution? The previous driver had serious problems with Wayland, so I used X11. I'm using Wayland now, with no problems. Should I download a driver from Nvidia, and if so, which one? Will I be able to use Wayland, or should I use X11 with the new driver?
