[Kwin_Wayland] Kwin_Wayland will crash after starting Electron Wayland apps

    [KDE] [Kwin_Wayland] Kwin_Wayland will crash after starting Electron Wayland apps

    I use "--enable-features=UseOzonePlatform,WaylandWindowDecorations --ozone-platform-hint=auto --enable-wayland-ime" to start Electron apps on Wayland,and soon after it will stuck and crashed and says due to Graphic card is reset,and kwin was rebooted.I met this both on Kubuntu 24.10 with Plasma 6.1.5 and Kubuntu 25.04 with Plasma 6.2.3.

    But my GPU is AMD Radeon 780M,driver is Mesa 24.2.3,I don't meet this problem on GNOME 46 and GNOME 47,could developer fix this problem at 24.10 or 25.04?Thanks!

    You may need to\ search for or file a bug on KDE's bug tracker.

    Do you really need to use all of those command switches?
    try just using --ozone-platform=wayland and see if the same happens there, then add other back until you find the one that causes the issue.

      After using your command to open it, I minimized the application for a period of time on KDE Plasma 6.1.5 (Kubuntu 24.10) and Plasma 6.2.3 (Kubuntu 25.04), and then opened it again, which caused the same program to experience screen flickering. It took a few seconds for it to return to normal (I'm new at here and don't know how to upload the screenshot😭)

      And this time KDE Kwin_Wayland cannot catch the bug on KDE System logcat program

          After adding your command line I open VSCode and minium it a while after and it looks like this for seconds and become normal
