Having issues with Latte-Dock and can't figure out how to use the KDE bug report site

I really don't know where else to put this, since I can't figure out how to use the bug website. I installed this app at someone else's recommendation around the beginning of January this year. I created a KDE Plasma style panel with it, arranging it exactly like the default panel, then I removed the default panel. I removed the default panel, so notifications would work properly. Turns out I like the look of latte-dock's KDE panel better than the default.

It worked great at first, and gave no issues at all. After a while of using it (without making any additional changes to it), it started giving me issues:
    • Apps started failing to launch from the K menu (eg Thunderbird, and Discord)
    • Apps started failing to launch that were pinned to the task manager (eg Discord)
    • Launching pinned apps without latte running (alt+space > appname > enter) would launch both the app, AND latte-dock (eg Discord)
The only solution I found was to remove latte-dock from startup, and restore the default panel. Latte-dock is currently still installed, and unused. Since restoring the default panel, it no longer launches when using alt+space to launch apps like Discord.

For reference, I'm using X11 with an RTX2080-SUPER, and the default plasma version for this distro. Discord is also installed as a .deb package, if that helps. If you need more information, please let me know.

latte dock is depreciated... and it is not a KDE application so reporting should be directed to the developer (if they are still working on it).

Nice, suggesting something that has been dead for about three years now.

It has been under the KDE umbrella for at least 5 years and is in KDE's bugzilla as well as KDE's git instance and phabricator.

And yes, it is still dead, though every once in a while someone does look at it. Then nothing happens.

Plus, if Latte were still alive, bugs in Plasma 5 are not likely something that would ever be fixed.

      But back ion topic-ish:
What parts of the bug reporting process are you having trouble with?

Sure, it is annoying and not always clear, but help can be found.
There is a basic how-to HERE. You can skip to step 3.
Choosing the correct component isn't 100% necessary, just give a best guess if unsure - they can change those things if/when the report is triaged.

Searching comes up with some stuff, but then I have to go through each result to find what I'm looking for. That is time consuming. Honestly, it's the general procedure of it. I'm used to getting support from forums such as these, or filling out a support website form. (Think Steam support) The reason I came here, is because Latte is listed as a project in KDE's git project list, as well as their bug reporting website. That had me assuming that this was a KDE package, which seems like common sense.

Since Latte appears to be dead, I'll just toss it, and continue using the default panel. I was unaware that it was a dead package when I got the recommendation. That would've been great to know, before trying this.
