Kubuntu Application Launcher Program Name Save

In the Kubuntu application launcher, how can I save all the application names to a text file? At one time there was a program called kmenueditor which was a KDE utility that allowed you to manage the KDE menu structure including accessing application information. I’ve tried to find a working copy without any success. Apparently it hasn’t been updated for a long time. Are there any other programs like this that anyone knows of or maybe a terminal command? I’m not that good at creating my own terminal commands. Thanks in advance.

Right clicking on the launcher icon gets you to the menu editor

    It's called kmenuedit
I have no idea on saving a list of names, I'm afk atm

I do see a program called KDE Menu Editor but it doesn't do what I'm looking for but thanks for telling me about this. It is a nice little program.

The menu is in ~/.config/menus/applications-kmenuedit.menu, in a freedesktop SGML format. It's mostly references to .desktop files, which are mostly in /usr/share/applications and ~/.local/share/applications.

Thanks for your help John. I've been exploring these directories. It's the answer I was looking for.

        Hi JeffRedd

You could also run "tree" in a terminal from the folder of choice.
