reboot required for sound

roughly 30 percent of the time since installation of kubuntu 24.04 no sound device at boot, reboot required (sometimes multiple, 4 times today) for sound. months now, lots of reports when searching the web. four reboots required today, usually one is sufficient

And what sound device is it? On what specific computer? This type of problem is very likley and very much hardware/mainboard specific.
