online account and kde connect

I tried to setup open desktop and google
google launched but cant be added and says its blocked. Online it says this is a known issue from last year. Will this be fixed soon?
Opendesktop doesn't launch at all. IS there a fix?

does kde connect still work with iPhone?

Probably not. it is a pita dealing with Google, and any fix is likely going to be in a future Plasma, not necessary able to be ported back to Plasma 5.
There is a workaround ("stealing" Gnome's credentials) that does work, at least in Plasma 6

Opendesktop idk. In my decades of use, never used or needed it.
Having said that, I found that I do have an account there, and it adding it does work for me (Plasma 6)

iPhone and KDE Connect, idk either. I don't have an iPhone, and the mrs (rightfully!) won't let me muck around with hers
Support seems hit-or-miss.
