So, the upgrade did complete, but not without some niggles it seems.

This is what apt now sees on your system:

      In /etc/apt/sources.list:

      deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ noble main restricted
      deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ noble-updates main restricted
      deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ noble universe
      deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ noble multiverse
      deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ noble-updates multiverse
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ noble-backports main restricted universe multiverse
      deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble-security main restricted
      deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble-security universe
      deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble-security multiverse

      In /etc/apt/sources.list.d/:

      audio-recorder-ubuntu-ppa-jammy.list
      deb https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/aud...er/ppa/ubuntu/ jammy main

      kelebek333-ubuntu-hplip-jammy.list
      deb https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/kel.../hplip/ubuntu/ jammy main

      mozilla.list
      deb [signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/packages.mozilla.org.asc] https://packages.mozilla.org/apt mozilla main

      mozilla.list.distUpgrade
      deb [signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/packages.mozilla.org.asc] https://packages.mozilla.org/apt mozilla main

      mozillateam-ubuntu-ppa-jammy.list
      deb https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/moz...am/ppa/ubuntu/ jammy main

      vivaldi.list
      deb [arch=amd64] https://repo.vivaldi.com/stable/deb/ stable main

      vivaldi.list.distUpgrade
      deb [arch=amd64] https://repo.vivaldi.com/stable/deb/ stable main

The content of /etc/apt/sources.list is for noble (24.04), but that this file (sources.list) exist is troubling, for me. It shouldn't exist (now), as it was replaced by /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu.sources, the file you don't have.
The content of the files in /etc/apt/sources.list.d are all for jammy except for vivaldi, which is generic.

The current issue you are facing, as you posted in post #3, is due to hplip-gui for noble being available natively via /etc/apt/sources.list content, and for jammy via /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kelebek333-ubuntu-hplib-jammy.list.

For right now, just rename the file so apt doesn't recognize it:

      sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kelebek333-ubuntu-hplip-jammy.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kelebek333-ubuntu-hplip-jammy.listBAK

Then run: sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade

Then you can try installing the hplip-gui package.

Totally odd. When you try to install hplip-gui, what are you being told? For hplip?

You have to use sudo with apt, so sudo apt install hplip hplip-gui

Try again and report back what you are told.

This indicates that the repository for kelebek333 is still being seen by apt. As you renamed the file to kelebek333-ubuntu-hplip-jammy.listBAK, I don't understand (at the moment) why this would be the case.

If you want, you can remove/purge hplip, then logout/restart and then install hplip, which would insure that the installation is using the Ubuntu default repository for noble, and not that of kelebek333-ubuntu-hplip-jammy.

                          sudo apt purge hplip

                          Then logout/restart.

Probably need to update the apt database via sudo apt update, which should remove references to the removed/disabled PPA source file.

Or using ppa-purge to properly disable/remove the PPA, update the database, and downgrade back to stock Ubuntu packaging -- though I have no idea if this is 100% useful for the purpose for a PPA/packaging for a previous release in a new one *after* an upgrade where the PPA doesn't have packages fore the current release.

Manually uninstalling is probably safest, anyway, since you are doing things one step at a time.
