Dear friends,
I have no idea whether this is a software issue or not.
I recently bought a Lenovo v15 G3 ABA, this is the first laptop ever for me with a AMD processor.
Now when I run on battery and try to edit a video on Kdenlive, or when I work with a program like Gimp for example, the laptop just switches off and on again. This does not happen whilst on AC.
I am typing this in Firefox, which seems to go fine. This is why I get the impression it might have to do something with GPU using apps.
Where do I start to find the issue? Battery test in the BIOS said 100% fine.
Operating System: Kubuntu 24.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.11
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0
Qt Version: 5.15.13
Kernel Version: 6.9.0-060900-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5825U with Radeon Graphics
Memory: 13,5 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics
Manufacturer: LENOVO
Product Name: 82TV
System Version: Lenovo V15 G3 ABA
Your help is very much appreciated.
Jurgen
