Krita installs with no icon

The krita install doesn't configure an icon withing its desktop file, or if it does, that icon doesn't seem to exist.

As workaround, one can download an icon file from somewhere and configure it in the plasma menu.

This only concerns the Krita Snap (installed by e.g. the "Full installation" option).

If you install the "traditional" Krita from the (K)Ubuntu 24.04 repositories it has an icon.

Damn... I for sure dislike snap and will remove it right away with all that has come with it.

PS: And yes, when installed w/o snap, krita HAS an icon.

OT:

"Hate" is a strong word.

Snaps have both advantages and disadvantages compared to "traditional" programs, just as Flatpaks…
