    Multi-Booting Windows 11 - Kubuntu - Linux Mint

I have a Windows 11 computer that is just 2 years old and Linux Ubuntu certified and Windows certified. I want to install Kubuntu 24.04 Noble Numbat (LTS) and Linux Mint 22 "Wilma" Linux Mint Xfce. Windows 11 is already installed

My questions is can I (or should I) partition the drive through Windows with my AOMEI Partition Assistant 10.8 or should I set up the partitions during setup when it asks you if you want to install it alongside Windows?

I've read a lot on the internet about this but haven't been able to find and answer.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance, JeffRedd

do NOT use a windows partition manager to create partitions for linux.

if you boot to the linux install media you should find gparted there... use that instead, or just use the installer

but does make the install a bit easier if you have the partitions already set up so you can just focus on the mount points
