[SOLVED] Can't upgrade Kubuntu 23.10 system to 24.04.01

Hi, my desktop system has been out of commission for months. It was running Kubuntu 23.10 when it broke, and I finally got it back up and running. I now want to upgrade to 24.04.01, but neither the GUI upgrader nor do-release-upgrade will function, nor do they give useful error messages. GUI gives a blank error window, CLI just says:
Your Ubuntu release is not supported anymore.
    For upgrade information, please visit:
    http://www.ubuntu.com/releaseendoflife

Following that URL just auto-forwards to https://ubuntu.com/about/release-cycle, which, as far as I can tell, has absolutely zero useful information on how to actually proceed with the upgrade.

    Help?

BUT the main instruction won't work today, the old-releases archive stops at 22.10.
You will need to follow the "Unsupported upgrades" section.

tbh, I am adventurous and I (sort of) know what I am doing, and I'd go for a clean install, myself.

That worked, thanks (I did have to download the noble-specific upgrader, FYI, and the page forgot to tell me to use sudo to then run it, but I figured it out).
