[CONFIGURATION] Backing UP FF, Thunderbird, essential files

    Hi Again,

Since I found a problem with FireFox Profiles
    ~/.mozilla/firefox/profile.ini
wasn't correct or up-to-date, It took awhile but I found it in
    ~/user/snap/firefox/common/.mozilla/profile.ini
    was up-to-date

So this leads to the question

Q- What Folders should I be backing up ?
    As previously mentioned
    .config & .local
    were suggested.
Q- I can't find the topic, but how and where do I put the service or instruction to execute or RUN -->shutdown.sh command to execute or run when I 'shutdown' I have it on my Lubuntu VM, but I can't find where I put the .service to run the script.
I know where the shutdown.sh script IS located, but not HOW IT IS Executed....
And I cannot find instructions on what to do. I've read multiple times to put it in /rc.6 folder but nothing is there

Another slight off topic, and I think I've asked before. I've read the BTRFS stuff, but it appears too complicated for me.
I just want something that runs & WORKS.
--- No stupid "Paper-Clip demanding there is some update"
--- No multiple system changes like SNAP or Wayland.
--- Kubutun to update and change the Software SOURCES when it actually does update or upgrade

Is there an easy way to do a live 'full' system files, backup ?
--? On M$ I used Paragon backup & recovery. Best Backup and Restore Program ever... Free for Individuals (maybe. It's been 15years since I had windows)
--? On Windows there was or is something called P2V... (Physical 2 Virtual) copy or creator.
Q- Is there a Linux Version ?... I've Internet Searched and haven't found anything.

    And off-topic, all most
unetbootin vs "Startup Disk Creator".... I only noticed when attempting to create a bootable USB of 22.04.5
Q- Is unetbootin dead, or like muon, just no-longer updated or supported ?

    Thanks

In Thunderbird go to the menu and select Tools > Export

Follow the instructions to backup all your TB data to a ZIP file.
Constant change is here to stay!

Thanks beerislife. I think I did that once before, and yeah it exported it. Importing it was a joke. I have multiple email accounts and if I remember correctly, every email ended up in one folder

As a precaution, and a total pain in the gluteus maximus, What I've done is when creating an email account I then Move that account to my own folder. At least I know where my data is.

And the answer I was hoping for is along the lines of.......... If Firefox was moved from ~/.mozzilla/firefox to ~/snap/xyz/123 then has thunderbird been moved as well.
If yes, should I just back up ~/snap folder and subs ?
      And or not
      ~/.mozilla & ~./thunderbird
since I had a look and they have data, just not recent
