    Booting takes for-ever

Since upgrading to 24.04 my system booting now takes 3-5 minutes
Way too long, and all I have is a black screen
Q- How do I enable (or disable) that dos like screen stuff, since tapping [esc] key isn't working ??
    Thanks

        Thanks Claydoh.
I edited the grub file and removed the "quiet splash" and that gave me the list of sevices and linux stuff.
        THEN
The screen goes blank for about a minute, no keyboard [ESC] Key. I think numlock works and then the boot screen, the one I spent days trying to get work, before the login screen

Q- Where is the startup log file located, please ?
Q- Or is it some command line ?
        Thanks

          New Problem
NO Updates or Upgrades that I did (unless the system suddenly re-activated auto updates and apply them)

I had a temp power outage a few hours ago.... My PC rebooted. I got to a blank screen. Thought the PC had locked up until I realized the Microwave Clock was reset to 0000
So [CTRL] + [ALT] + DEL and the screen scrolled shutdown system stuff the rebooted, then screen (not-Quiet mode) scrolled more stuff, Froze for 90 seconds on UUID HDD not found and then black screen again.

          Kubuntu 24.04 officially suxs

EDIT: Just Found This. This is perfectly explained...

After reading through a few other KFN issues (Anna Smith - Upgrade from 22.04), I think my screen issues is because its on the nvidia driver. I think I clicked on it, and it changed. I noticed it a few days before my whole system crashed (power outage) and meant to change it back to nouveau the Open source driver.
