Libvirt and copying and pasting from host to guest

I may be in the wrong subforum; apologies if that is so.
I have used libvirt/QEMU/KVM to create a Windows 10 VM guest. The guest is up and running, but I have not been able to figure how to copy and past files from K22.04 to the guest. (I knew how to do it with VMware, but VMware Workstation 16 does not work on 24.04.)

After online research, I have installed the Spice tools on both host and guest, but am still unable to copy and paste. I may (or undoubtedly am) using Spice incorrectly. I am not wedded to using Spice; I just need a way to copy from host to guest and vice versa.

I think spice-vdagent is needed as well.
There used to be a bug out something specific in Ubuntu's that broke this at some point in the past, but I don't know if that is still the case.

I'm on the road so I can't check it on my setup at the moment.
