From 24.04 back to 22.04

I was running 22.04 with a VMworkstation Windows 10 guest. I tried installing 24.04, but it does not play nicely (or at all) with VMware. It's only a temporary fix, but can I go back to 22.04? I still have installation media for it.

Once I do move to 24.04, I'll have to learn KVM and its associated programs. VMware hasn't been the same since Broadcom purchased it.

Virtualbox is still useful.

And for KVM just use virt-manager.
