    Windows fast startup is probably locking up some of your hardware.

      Thanks for the reply but if "Fast startup" is the same as "Fast Boot" I have that disabled along with tpm.

        No, it isn't the same at all. It is a sort of hibernation-like state Windows uses for....faster startups. This can and often does "lock" some hardware devices, even entire drives. This almost always breaks dual booting on single drives, often breaks dual boot in general, and in my own experience has locked out or messed with things like bluetooth firmware.
