[SOLVED] Ethernet 1 disconnected at installation screen

Hello,
I'm new to kubuntu and want to move from Win10 to kubuntu. I made a testinstallation in a virtual machine to see if all I need is working. So far everything is OK
But now thet i want to install on bare metal I get directly this message at installation screen. I can see that this system is trying to connect, but no chance.
So I started now "Try Kubuntu", opened a terminal and typed "ip lin" which gives me lo0 and eno1, then i looked lspci thus gives me for ethernet Intel I217-V (rev05)
When I try to configure networkmanager, i tries to connect but after a while a window pops up sayaing IP configuration was unavailable.
Maybe I need a specific driver, but have no idea how to give it to the bootprocess
Hopefully someone can help me, if there are more information you need let me know, for now I have the PC back to windows and network has no problems

Please provide us with information about the PC you have installed Kubuntu on to. Make, model, type (laptop or desktop). And as to the network you are trying to connect to: is it a home network, a workplace network, or a public (cafe, library, etc) network?

the PC is a Asus Desktop and has wired network only, it is no specific model, it was assembled 1bout 10 years ago, I don't know now which cpu but it has 32 G of memory and there are two SSD's installed and it stays in a home network.
Btw. there is nothing installed yet, because I get this message directly at installation screen. I try with "try kubuntu". Actually I was able to set manually and IP-address by using ip add ...., but still no connection.
Normally this shoukd work automatically by using dhcp, but this seems not to work here, and I have no idea why.

Okay, no wi-fi, just cabled Ethernet. Is your PC connected to a DSL Modem, or to a router and then a network box?

OK, so this probably means your WiFi will need a driver not included in the install medium. You can install using the ethernet, then look for a driver. If you cannot connect using a wired connection to your network, it seems very likely the problem lies with your network and not with the installer.

It's also possible your ISO download or the burn to USB was bad. You might consider re-downloading it and verifying the sha256 checksum of the ISO, then using a reliable tool like BalenaEtcher to write it to a thumb drive.

Yes the PC is connected to a 16 port router which is connected to a tp-link router which is a load balancer and is connected to two internet lines.
But honestly I can not imagine that the problem is at the network, because I'm sitting now at the same machin bootet in windows and everything is up and running.
I made some photos from the screen and made et extract from syslog by greping eno1 from syslog.

I'm not networking expert, but this:

seems to mean your router is not allowing the dhcp to connect. I also don't see any reference to "ipv4" which probably means your network is configured for ipv6 only and the installer isn't navigating it properly.

there is no ipv6 in my Network, but I agree with you that it seems as if the router denies to dhcp an address. Therefore I made some more tests.
First I tried to boot from two different PC's here which are connected exactly the same way as the one who's not working, and they worked without problems.
So then I downloaded standard ubuntu and it acted exactly the same as kubuntu. After that I tried kali live which was working again.
and by the way before those tests I did reboot the router to be sure there's something blocking in memory.
After all this testing I come to the conclusion it must be a problem in combination of (k)ubuntu and my specific Network Card, because the problem exist only when booting (k)ubuntu, Windows works Kali works. Kubuntu works on other systems with oter Network Cards.
As this is my main PC I stop it here, because I must be sure to have a stable Network and will for the moment go back to windows

So, now I have found the real reason why it didn't work. It has to do with "wake on lan" which I definitely had configured under windows. I had read already in other posts that this might be the problem, but after deconfiguring and retry there was no difference. But today I found how to make it correctly, after deconfigure one have to power off the system completely, means really powerless. Than the next try showed success.
