[CONFIGURATION] Dell KB522 Keyboard, USB ports not working

In relation to a software error post
https://www.kubuntuforums.net/forum/currently-supported-releases/kubuntu-24-04-nitpick-noble-lts/software-support-bg/685479-yuboco-yubikey-2fa-mfa-not-working
I am sure the USB ports on my keyboard are not working.

It is a DELL Business KB522... OR.... P/N = 02FVXN
My Yubikey was plugged in here and was found and usable.
I have attempted to plug the yubikey into other USB ports.... Just did some testing. Front USB ports not working. Motherboard REAR ports are working...
NOW.
How do I get this 24.04 to find my 15 year old PC drivers.
OR does linux no longer support older machines and demands latest models, like M$ does?

So after fixing Yubikey, I have another issue

When I did the "there is a new version of 22.04.6" upgrade popup, I noticed a message that read something like.....
You have third party hardware disabled on install. select <insert unknown.
I did save the screen, I just don't know where it was saved
So....

Q- How do I re-enable third party hardware or in this case the keyboard hardware and sound card (built in to mother board ?

Q- Is there a way to make sure the graphics driver will NOT be switched to "Nvidia<whocares" version ?

Many Thanks, Again to all those who have read and commented to help me.
It has been greatly appreciated.
