Hello, Until recently the speaker mute light on my E14 G5 was working perfectly now, despite the key working, the light no longer works.
Normally I run with the speaker muted but recently I used it for something and pressing the mute button unmuted the speaker and turned the mute light off. Now pressing it won't turn the light on again. The light is still working because with a dual boot into Windows I can test proper operation.
The problem I have is identifying the update that broke it in kubuntu/ubuntu since there have been many updates and I didn't check when the key stopped working.
I am currently on kubuntu 24.04, Kernel 6.8.0-51-generic (64-bit). Is there any way to track down what has caused this?
