driver for nvidia geforce gts 250?

I installed kubuntu 24.04 in an old pc with nvidia geforce gts 250 gpu. I check the driver installed and is nouveau. But this give me a maximum 1024x768 display. Mine display is a tv with 1366x768 resolution. So I decide to install the appropriate proprietary driver. When i Run "sudo apt install nvidia-driver" no driver found. When I press tab for autocomplete it gives me this "suso apt install ndidia-driver-" but I dont what to put next. When I do "apt search nvidia" it gives so many pagaces to choose. I dont know how to install the correct driver. Please help.

EDIT. In "additional drivers" it says no proprietary driver is used and no additional driver is available
EDIT2: The problem is not the driver, is my tv, in other tvs or monitors the nouveau driver works perfect. So, in a way, solved

Just press Tab again, and it will list what is available to choose from.

I've got that exACT same issue on my HP ELitebook 8560 with i7 quadcore and 8Gb memory, and with a Nvidia Quadro 1000M. I did a clean install once, and then installed Nvidia-settings and the latest Nvidia Driver, which resulted in no loginscreen at all. It's begiinning to be tempting to reinstall the old 14.04, I need that driver. NOT Nouveau. So, I guess I'll be sticking with 14.04 install instead.
