[RESOLVED] Laptop keyboard suddenly stopped working.

Running fully updated 24.04.01 on a Lenovo Ideapad (about 7 years old).

Typing a document and the keyboard stopped working. Period. None of the keys do anything.
I didn't accidentally enable Slow Keys.

On screen keyboard doesn't work in terminal (though it did work for getting back in after a reboot).

This is a Web development machine, and I hope it can be fixed somehow.

    Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: Below is a screenshot of the Input Method window. My keyboard is turned off?? How do I turn it back on? I tried every button in the window, no solution.

EDIT #2: Problem solved! (and I don't know why)
After getting into BIOS, and finding that the keyboard still didn't work, and no way to exit BIOS, I was forced to shut down.
When I booted back up, everything was back to normal.

I had restarted a couple time earlier, but a total shutdown somehow fixed it. Go figure.

My laptop keyboard also has about 50% key failure. I'm using an external USB keyboard to get around this problem. I could, probably, take the laptop to a repair shop, but it is cheaper to use a $12 USB keyboard.

    YMMV
