Bing Potd is always one day behind

I've noticed that the Bing Picture of the Day is always one day behind what is actually the potd. Obviously not a show stopper, but just curious if there is a fix for it.

Saw it was a topic post back in 2022, but without a long-term resolution.

Don't know if it's a unique issue to Plasma 5. I have another laptop running Plasma 6 and it updates on time.

Did some searching and found this..

"The issue seems to be the POTD wallpaper plugin updates at 12 AM localtime, whereas Bing POTD updates at 12 AM Pacific Time. If you're in a timezone with a later TZ offset (e.g. US/Eastern), then it'll be behind by a day."

Since I'm CST, I can either A) live with being a day behind or B) upgrade to Kubuntu 24.10 which includes Plasma 6.1. I think I'll go with option A for now!

Breadcrumbs for my future self - I found if you delete the /home/.cache/plasma_engine_potd folder then go to desktop and wallpaper, KDE will then go pull that day's picture.
