    UK Daylight Savings Time (BST) issue

    The clocks in the UK went back last week to GMT but my laptop still thinks it's BST. Here is the output showing the time;

    me@laptop:~$ timedatectl
    Local time: Fri 2024-04-05 10:24:06 BST
    Universal time: Fri 2024-04-05 09:24:06 UTC
    RTC time: Fri 2024-04-05 09:24:06
    Time zone: Europe/London (BST, +0100)
    System clock synchronized: yes
    NTP service: n/a
    RTC in local TZ: no
    me@laptop:~$ date
    Fri 5 Apr 10:24:11 BST 2024

    The time changed correctly but not the BST/GMT status. How can I resolve this issue?

    Jim!

      Nothing to change. Clocks in UK went forward to BST (British Summer Time) last weekend so you have the correct time. GMT = UTC.
