Not sure what you are asking; your post seems more of a 'statement'. What exactly are you trying to get an answer to?Windows no longer obstructs my view.

Unfortunately you are right: the only choice is "Normal Installation".
There is no "Minimal" option in the Kubuntu 23.10 installer anymore…Debian KDE & LXQt • Kubuntu & Lubuntu • openSUSE KDE • Windows • macOS X
Desktop: Lenovo ThinkCentre M75s • Laptop: Apple MacBook Pro 13" • and others
get rid of Snap script (20.04 +) • reinstall Snap for release-upgrade script (20.04 +)
install traditional Firefox script (22.04 +) • install traditional Thunderbird script (24.04)

If you don't want LibreOffice, open the Konsole terminal emulator and enter ( -> but read and understand the output before confirming with "y"):
sudo apt purge *libreoffice*
sudo apt autoremove
sudo apt autoclean
This should remove anything concerning LibreOffice.Debian KDE & LXQt • Kubuntu & Lubuntu • openSUSE KDE • Windows • macOS X
