[SOLVED] Wayland + Nvidia + Blender broken

Blender has been unusable in a Plasma Wayland session since driver 530.x.

It spits out a few errors:

    Code:
libEGL warning: egl: failed to create dri2 screen

EGL Error (0x3009): EGL_BAD_MATCH: Arguments are inconsistent (for example, a valid context requires buffers not supplied by a valid surface).
EGL Error (0x3009): EGL_BAD_MATCH: Arguments are inconsistent (for example, a valid context requires buffers not supplied by a valid surface).
and then continues albeit unusably slow. This has been this way since Nvidia driver version 530.x. It runs fine however on Ubuntu using the same driver.

    tested on Geforce RTX4070 / 1060 / 970 with driver versions 530, 535, 545.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

Resolved: installing the missing libnvidia-egl-wayland1 fixed the problem.
