Having an issue where when I open the SMS windows (not from notifications, but from right clicking kde connect and choosing send sms), I write a text message and hit enter and then it never gets sent or appears in the history window. In other words.. it does not work ;p What am i doing wrong? I also just got a facebook message notification and tried to reply to that inside the notification area but that doesnt work either. I do have send SMS turned on in the mobile app (android, Samsung S21). Thanks.

Persuading android and KDE Connect to set up the permissions needed has been tricky in the past. I would get success by reinstalling KDE Connect from scratch, so that it would ask for the permissions again. Does KDE Connect have SMS permission in android? Android these days removes permissions from apps that have not been used for a while.Regards, John Little -
