    Crash During Installation

    Greetings everyone.

    I tried many Linux distros, I never got an error like in Kubuntu installation. Towards the end of the installation the system crashes and I always have this problem when doing Nvidia related installs. I have an Nvidia GTX 960M graphics card, what is the problem? Kind regards.

    Welcome.

    Try not selecting
    "Download updates while installing Kubuntu"
    and
    "Install third-party software for graphics and …"
    during installation.

    After installation update your system, reboot and install Nvidia drivers etc. manually, e.g. by
    ubuntu-drivers devices
    sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall
    in Konsole.

    Reboot.

    get rid of Snap script (20.04 +) • reinstall Snap for release-upgrade script (20.04 +)
    install traditional Firefox script (22.04 +)​ • install traditional Thunderbird script (24.04)​
