I haven't been able to update for a month because my monitor is dying I'm my laptop now and my desktop has Kubuntu 22.04 on it. So when I get a new monitor will I have any issues applying updates or not?

22.04 is supported through April 2025. So, if you get a new monitor prior to that, you should be fine.
