Firefox 126 (Snap) ignoring file association set for .deb files in system settings
I just reinstalled Kubuntu 22.04 on my PC after wiping out Windows. Not sure if I will dual boot Windows again, but that's a discussion for another time and place. For reference, this is a fresh install of Kubuntu
By default, the file association for .deb files is the QApt Package Manager, which is what I prefer to use for .deb files. By default, Firefox offers to open them with either Ark or Discover, but not QApt. I managed to fix this in my last install, but can't remember how I did it. Screenshots are below for reference.
