    Trash not big enough?

    Here goes ... The Trash.
    Example of the problem:
    I have a 6 GB folder on a flash drive.
    Why can't I delete it (by pressing Delete or Move to Trash)?
    I get a message in RED, like: file too big for the trash.
    On my Trash settings, I set the size limit to 36 GB (20%).
    My Home folder should have 170 GB free.

    Because Dolphin will probably try to move the 6GB to the .Trash-1000 (or whatever your UID is) on the flash drive - not the .local/share/Trash in your /home .
    Every storage device has its own settings for Trash in Dolphin.

    Just another solution could be:
    --> Dolphin's hamburger menu --> Configure --> Confiigure Dolphin… --> Context Menu --> enable Delete
    to be able to directly delete it from Dolphin's context menu (right click - attention: no way to undo this).

    Or use Konsole (rm -r - also no way to undo this here).

    PS: Oh, and maybe you will have to restart Dolphin to get the additional entry in the context menu…

      Yeah.
      Looking at the Trash settings (rt-click on the Trash icon in system tray), there are two places for trash to go: /home, and /media/mike/[flash drive], each has its own size limit to be set. In this case, the latter was set to just 10% or 2.86 GB.
      But I don't want to get into having to set & change the latter all the time.
      So, I enabled Delete from context menu, as you suggested. It does pop up with a warning, which is good.
      Thanks.
