kioslave5 keeps crashing

Probably you have it because of kio or kio-extras.
What were you doing when the crash occured?

get rid of Snap script (20.04 +) • reinstall Snap for release-upgrade script (20.04 +)
install traditional Firefox script (22.04 +) • install traditional Thunderbird script (24.04)

Probably you have it because of kio or kio-extras.
I was doing multiple things but most likely it was caused by restoring some files from Kup.
And If it is a bug in kio itself, using the Kubuntu Backports could fix it due to the updates for e.g. KDE Frameworks.
