    dolphin and zipcrypto

How do I add zipcrypto support to the built in zipper for dolphin? Currently only AES is supported which Windows users cannot decrypt, but they can zipcrypto.

I cannot help you with ZipCrypto, but 7-Zip for Windows (https://7-zip.org/) should be able to handle AES encryption.

    PS: Ark should support ZipCrypto.

Thanks but from what I can see, Ark is the tool used by Dolphin and there only AES is available. Unfortunately my grandparents are not able to handle any additional tasks on their M$ devices. 7zip would definitely overwhelm them.

Well, according to https://webdevolutions.blob.core.win...-zipcrypto.pdf ZipCrypto shouldn’t be used by Windows users, as it is to easy to crack and obtain passwords.

In Ark's settings, disable the libzip plugin, which will make the default zip tool become 7z, which does support zipcrypto

You might have 7zip already, maybe, but you might need to install it (p7zip-full )
