Hi all,
I am currently running kernel 5.15.0-52.58-generic (which afaik is the latest version) under Kubuntu 22.04.1 (continuously updated) on my Toshiba Satellite L870-18v (Intel I3 Dual Core 4 Thread, 8 GB RAM). Give that this system is a bit old, would it help improve system performance if I were to switch to a low latency kernel such as kernel 5.15.0.52-58-lowlatency, or would this change be a waste of time on such an old system ? I use the system for web browsing, video replay, and small scale software development.
