Lutris only launches game after installation

Hi, I have an issue with lutris and games from GOG, that is it installs, then when choosing 'launch' after installing, we can play it. But after closing it there is never any way to run the game again.
I did not have this issue with Ubuntu with the same games.
    Please help !

Did you follow all the steps for installing lutris? https://linuxconfig.org/install-lutr...ellyfish-linux

Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

Yes lutris is well installed, this is weird that I can play games when starting 'launch' after an installation is over but not after.

You probably need to find the specific command Lutris is using for it's broken Launch option, and run that in a terminal and see what it barks about. But it may be something you need to pester the Lutris folks about. The desktop environment used won't have any bearing on how Lutris/wine operates.
And if for some odd reason it did, they would be the ones more likely to know about it, and how to work around it.
The fact that the game loads at install time seems to indicate Lutris is doing something differently there than what it sets for the game's launcher options

I assume the Ubuntu version you used successfully is also 22.04, and is a separate install from Kubuntu?
Same sources and methods for installing Lutris on both?

        Same computer?

it has been ages since I used Lutris, probably when metro Exodus first came out, or somewhere around then. I can't recall if there is some sort of console or logging you can look at, which would be helpful to look for errors or anything.

Yes there is a difference between the way it starts the game after install, which is just going to launch the exe, and with the shortcuts which launch game with the command "lutris".
I've tried to change the desktop file's command from env LUTRIS_SKIP_INIT=1 lutris lutris:rungameid/1 to the path of my exe, and got a "file not executable", chmod +x the exe but it still wouldn't run, even when setting back the shortcut command line.

And yes same version, same computer.
