Hi,
Yesterday I noticed that, when typing a text in the search field within the launcher, key inputs were not taken, as if the keyboard was not working. The problem was the same for a window dialog that was asking me a file name to for a saved screen shot in Spectacle.
Typing in other apps (like I'm doing now in the browser) has no problem at all.
Not sure if this started with a latest update of the OS. This has never happened with Kubuntu before on the 2 years I have been using it.
Testing on another partition I have, using Linux Mint, no problem.
